Nattie Concepts is the work of artist Natasha Sanchez, who lives in New Orleans.  After receiving a BA in History and a minor in Cultural Geography, Natasha began working in the New Orleans film and music industries.  Music has been a constant force in her life.  She wrote her first song, "Three Mountains in a Row", at the age of 5.  Twenty-five years later, she wrote her second song. She then learned to play guitar, wrote more ditties, and finally, the concept of Nattie was born.  Her years in the film industry inspired her to pursue her interest in photography, first learning by working in photo labs.  By 2001, she was photographing portraits and weddings, and later began showing her work in galleries.  In 2006, Natasha founded Nattie Concepts in an effort to combine all of her artistic endeavors.  A wannabee anthropologist at heart, her photos and songs are stories of everyday life, where she finds the extraordinary in the ordinary.  Look for more nattie concepts in the future..
